  • Uniform Sales are taking place on  Wednesday, 25th of August and Thursday, 26th of August from 9 – 12pm.  All payments can be made through Aladdin.

  • Quiz Team - Some of our 6th class pupils recently participated in the South Dublin Libraries School Quiz which took place virtually this year. Two of our teams just missed out on a place in the final but did brilliantly and had great fun on the day. Well done to Katie, Alannah, Abby, Jamie, Grace, Rory, Elaine and Tadhg for doing so well in the qualifiers!
A special well done Ms. Sweeney's team who qualified for the finals on Friday last and finished in 3rd place! This was an amazing achievement as there were over 50 teams taking part from a huge selection of schools in the locality. Finn, Daisy, Shane and Izzy made our school very proud. They won some excellent sets of books for the school and some well-earned book vouchers for themselves. Well done to Finn, Daisy, Shane and Izzy!

  • Poetry Competition:

A huge well done to all students who took part in our recent poetry competition.

Our judges thoroughly enjoyed reading through all the wonderful poems you sent in on the theme: ‘What Makes Me Happy’.

We have many talented poets in Scoil Treasa and it was very tough to choose one winning entry from each year group.

Here are the winning entries:

(Winners will receive a book voucher when we return to school.)

3rd Class: “My Toothless Dragon Teddy Bear” by Seán Keane (Ms. Murray’s class).

4th Class: “Happiness” by Ryan Mc Phillips (Ms. O’ Neill’s class).

5th Class: “Laugh, Smile & Giggle” by Finn Dargan and Jamie Carroll (Ms. Mahony and Ms. Carey’s class).

6th Class: “What Makes Me Happy” by Jessica Horan (Ms. O’Tuama’s class).

A Word from our Principal

On behalf of the Board of Management, staff, parents and pupils, I welcome you to our school website. We are a Catholic primary school in the Parish of Firhouse.  The school was established in 1977 and caters for pupils from third class to sixth class.  We have 430 pupils and a staff of 32 at present.   We endeavour to provide a caring, happy and secure learning environment, where the spiritual, physical, moral, cultural and intellectual needs of our pupils are looked after. There is a wonderful sense of community evident in our school and it is the hard work of staff and students with the support of parents that makes Scoil Treasa truly unique. I hope you enjoy learning about our school and are encouraged to continue visiting both our school and our website.

Best wishes

Gerard O’ Meara
